In this lab you will add an ActiveX DLL to the Visual Component Manager.

You will use the Add-In Manager to load the Visual Basic Component Manager add-in to the Visual Basic development environment. 

Next, you will open the Visual Component Manager and publish a new component. 

You will use the Visual Component Manager Publish Wizard to add the component to the COM Servers folder. 

The Component name will be Lab1 Sample. You will set the type to be a COM Server Library and enter your name as the Author. 

You will give the component a description and use the world  ActiveX, as a search keyword. 

Overall this lab should take about 45 minutes to complete.
